Logline: A portrait documentary about Anna Deguzman and how the art of card flourishing (“cardistry”) has shaped her life.

Director’s Statement: The moment he saw cardistry for the first time, Jensen knew he had to make a film about it. Seeing something so ordinary as a deck of cards turned into something extraordinary was both beautiful and inspirational to him. At first, Jensen aimed to focus his documentary on cardistry as an artform, but after meeting Anna Deguzman, he saw that there was more to the story than just the cards – the real story came from the people that held those cards.
