To promote their new playing cards deck release. Their new deck featured a simplistic design that highlighted unique cartoon designs. The iconic symbols on the back reminded me of graffiti Jensen had seen, so he pitched the idea that we could give it an “LA” street feel to it. They loved the idea and so we spent a day roaming the streets from Hollywood to DTLA with a camera and a deck of cards.
